Free Training: Using Evaluation Research in Developing your Value Proposition

Research has shown that the social determinants of health play a large role on impacting public health outcomes. On Friday, October 20, 2017, BHA PPS will be offering a unique training opportunity for our community based partners that offer crucial services including access to housing, healthy food, alternatives to incarceration, and vocational training.  Research Scientist and Professor Dr. Angela Aidala and colleagues from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health will facilitate this one-day practical and hands-on workshop for BHA Tier 1 and Tier 2*CBO partners.

What will you achieve?
  • Gain skills and resources for conducting program evaluations under budget, time, and data constraints
  • Receive program-specific technical assistance to implement/ strengthen local evaluation research capacity
  • Assist your agency in quantifying and qualifying your value proposition as we head into the new world of value based payment
Who Should Attend?
  • Executive Directors, Program Directors, Supervisors, Evaluators
  • At least 2 staff (1 senior level) who will be involved with supervision or conducting evaluation and research at their sites.
